Blaylock Family Photos | Golden | Colorado Railroad Museum

Wow. I can’t believe it has been over a year since my last post. Needless to say, my photography has been pretty dormant this past year, but for some reason, things have picked up mightily this fall. This is a wonderful thing because I’m all graduated from my MBA program, and I finally have time to devote to photography.

Anyways, a few weeks ago I met up with the Blaylock family to again shoot their family photos. It’s pretty hard to believe that I first met Crystal and Jason two years ago after they had just moved to Colorado. And for these past two years, I have had the pleasure of taking their family photographs (here are last year’s photos along the South Platte River and here are photos two years ago from Denver City Park). It has been so much fun to watch their little girl grow up (she was two when we first met, now she’s four), and now the Blaylocks have another little one on the way. So excited for them!

We had a fun (but slightly chilly) photo session at the Colorado Railroad Museum located in Golden. I love so many of the photos from this session, but I think my favorite is the one below with the “Pssst… I’m going to be a big sister” sign. Their girl had no idea what the frame said, but her eyes play perfectly into the secrecy of the phrase. Love it.
