Stacie & Blake | Married | June 14

Some weddings are just fun to photograph, and this was one of those weddings. I shot Stacie and Blake’s engagement photos a few weeks ago, and one of the first things I noticed about them was that they make each other laugh (not to mention they laugh at my corny jokes). This real, genuine enjoyment of each other carried on into their wedding day on Saturday. Before their ceremony, both Stacie and Blake had a calm confidence to them as they prepared for their nuptials, and then after there ceremony, it was clear that they just enjoy each other. This joy of being together really makes for some wonderful, authentic photos.

I was so honored to be a small part of their special day, and I am so excited to go through all of the photos that we took. All the best to you Stacie and Blake. May God bless you in your marriage!

Their ceremony took place at the gorgeous Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Littleton.

After the ceremony we made it off to nearby Ketring Park after dodging a few golf ball-sized pieces of hail. Thank goodness we had a window a good weather to take some fun group shots. Thank you so much to my assistant Amanda for her help especially during these photos!

The night concluded at Maggiano’s Denver South. It was a fabulous reception with great people and great music. One of my particular favorite pictures is the bouquet “catch” right in the face. You’ve got to love capturing moments like that on camera!
